Journal Prompt:

What is my truest intention?

Winter is the time to go inward, to rest and reserve, reset and reflect. The new year is the perfect time to consider this question, What is my truest intention? I don’t love making new years resolutions that are result oriented. Really considering the foundation over and over again is the better place to move from.

What are my intentions for 2022? Where does it feel connected to my values?

For me, this year is all about curiosity and collaboration, these are the words that help me feel most connected and intentional in my life.

Curiosity — I am working toward a few things scare me a little, so I have committed to come toward them with curiosity instead of expectation, when things get hard or intense on the journey, I commit to coming back to this word.

My oldest son goes off to college this year, when I think of this, I feel the depth of both happiness and sadness. These transitional times have a way of destabilized me. (can anyone relate?) When I feel this, I commit to coming back to curiosity, sitting with all emotions that come up and leaning into them.

Collaboration — Women supporting women, to me, means love, growth, collectiveness, and sisterhood. I already have a few collaborations in the works, a trusted colleague, a retreat leader and a pelvic floor physical therapist, are a few you can expect at the start of 2022. If you are a woman that owns a business and you would like to collaborate, reach out. I have found many different ways to work with other women, it is such a pleasure to explore the similarities and to find common ground in the differences, even if you don’t see a direct connection to our paths, reach out. We can create new offerings.

If you use this journal prompt I would love to hear from you! Shoot me an email, let me know your thoughts.
