I resonate deeply with the narrative of the human body, finding inspiration in its intricate patterns. For me, breath serves as my guiding North Star.
At the core of my beliefs is a commitment to wonder—asking questions and embracing exploration. Life has shown me that the less we insist on a specific goal, the nearer we come to discovering it.
No matter how the body presents itself, I'm here to listen and provide support. Our bodies are in constant communication, expressing themselves through pain, emotions, breath patterns, hunger, or fatigue. Our focus is on allowing these signals to be heard and acknowledged.
I collaborate with the body instead of placing blame on it. By easing our judgments and acknowledging the beauty in our body's inherent self-protective nature, a profound sense of gratitude emerges, paving the way for healing.

My life's narrative has unfolded as a lengthy and creative journey, culminating in my role as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Growing up in the enchanting San Francisco Bay area, my childhood and teenage years were filled with a love for nature, photography, and documenting the human experience. This passion seamlessly transitioned into my undergraduate studies in darkroom photography at Humboldt State University.
College life, set against the backdrop of the magical surroundings of Humboldt, allowed me to explore the ocean and the majestic redwood forests—a mere stroll away from home. Post-graduation, I found myself in the equally breathtaking locale of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where I met and married my husband of two decades.
Our journey continued as we relocated to northwest Denver, where my husband pursued further studies. Over the years, we've planted roots here and welcomed two beautiful and talented children into our lives. After a decade of immersing myself in both photography and graphic design, I felt the call to embark on a new adventure. This led me back to school, where I pursued my doctorate in Classical Chinese Medicine.
Interestingly, practicing Chinese medicine has proven to be another way for me to dive into the human experience while observing and understanding nature. In essence, I haven't strayed too far from my original path—it's simply evolved into a richer and more fulfilling journey.
